Empowering Our Team: Spring Health's 4 New Benefits for Team Member Well-Being

    At Spring Health, our mission is to create a mentally healthy workplace for other organizations, which means it’s incredibly important to look inward and explore ways to improve our team members’ health and well-being. 

    Each year, we research ways we can continue to support our team members, their loved ones, and their futures through our robust benefit offerings. This includes listening to employee feedback from surveys, gathering insights from benefit utilization across the organization, and looking to market data to understand our gaps and areas of opportunity to improve our employee well-being. 

    I’m excited to share the new benefits we’ve launched to our team members in July as an addition to our already robust set of team member benefits. We believe these new offerings will help make a significant impact on the lives of our team members and their loved ones.

    Sabbatical leave program

    Taking time off to focus on personal or professional development, rest, travel, voluntary work, or family time is crucial for maintaining work-life balance and reducing burnout. That's why, when our team members hit their four-year Springaversary, they will be awarded a four-week, fully paid sabbatical leave.

    This benefit is a testament to our commitment to the holistic well-being of our team members, and it will help them recharge and return to work with renewed energy and focus.

    Carrot 

    At Spring Health, we understand that growing a family is a deeply personal and complex journey. That's why we're thrilled to offer Carrot, which supports fertility care, adoption, and donor-assisted reproduction, complete telehealth support with reproductive clinical and legal experts, and fertility reimbursement of $4,000 sponsored by Spring Health.

    We recognize that the journey to parenthood can be emotionally and financially taxing, and we want to provide our team members with the resources they need to make informed decisions and feel supported along the way.

    Gympass

    At Spring Health, we believe in the power of movement to support mental and physical health. 

    That's why we're thrilled to introduce Gympass, an on-demand virtual benefit that provides well-being coaching and budget management. Offerings include live and on-demand virtual fitness classes (Neou), access to 1,000 deep-dive meditations (Meditopia), and options to upgrade to various tiers of in-person gyms and fitness classes.

    Abortion care and gender-affirming care reimbursement policy

    We’re committed to fostering a supportive, inclusive, and equitable workplace. That's why we're proud to announce our updated Abortion Care & Gender-Affirming Care Reimbursement Policy. 

    We understand that healthcare is personal, and everyone deserves to feel seen, heard, and valued. Our new policy includes coverage for travel for abortion care and gender-affirming care when access to care may not be locally available.
