Easier to find the right support

Whether you're just getting started, in between sessions, or figuring out what you need, Guide can help you with next steps.

Built specifically for mental health

Guide isn't a generic AI tool. It's purposely designed for mental health and rigorously tested, with real clinicians ready to step in when extra care is needed.

Share freely, always protected

You get to decide what leaves this conversation. Your employer never sees it, and your provider only does if you choose.

Ready to start your day?' and options for guided activities, plus speech bubbles with requests like 'Walk me through a breathing exercise,' 'Help me prepare for my performance review,' 'My mind won’t stop racing. I can’t sleep,' and 'Can you reschedule my session this week?'

Looking for support or just want to talk? Guide knows how to help.

From finding the right care to having somewhere to turn between sessions, Guide is with you through every stage of your mental health journey.

Navigate care

Tell Guide what you're looking for (a specialty, a schedule, virtual or in person) and it will help match you to the right care for you.

Support in the moment

A lot can come up between sessions. Guide helps you reflect, work through a hard moment, or put words to what's on your mind.

Make changes that last

When you and your provider choose to record a session, Guide turns it into a summary covering what you discussed and what to focus on next, so therapy turns into daily practice.

AI built to keep you safe

Sharing your life takes trust. That's why Guide is built specifically for mental health, with safety at its core.

Built for mental health. Developed by licensed clinicians, Guide runs inside Spring Health's clinical and safety model, with defined boundaries for what it should and shouldn't do in terms of clinical care.

Connected to your care. As part of Spring Health, Guide understands the full context of your care, and can connect you to providers, sessions, or immediate support when needed.

Private by design. What you share with Guide is never seen by your employer, shared with your provider only with your consent, and never used to train AI models.

Proven safety performance. Guide is continually assessed against VERA MH, the first open source, clinically grounded AI safety benchmark for mental health.

Reviewed before you see it. Every message you send, and every response Guide gives, is checked for safety first, while still protecting your anonymity.

Real help, fast. If something serious comes up, a licensed clinician steps in within hours. You can also ask to talk to a person anytime.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is Guide?

Guide is Spring Health's AI that supports people across their care journey. It can help you understand your next step, find the right care, stay engaged between sessions, and keep moving forward. Guide is not a standalone chatbot and does not replace Spring Health's providers, Care Navigators, or Care Support team.

Who can use Guide?

Guide is for eligible Spring Health members, whether or not you are currently working with a provider. You can use it to explore support, find care, get help in the moment, prepare for a session, practice skills between sessions, or manage parts of your Spring Health experience. The features available to you may vary.

Will my employer see what I share with Guide?

No. Your employer never sees your individual conversations or whether you personally use Guide in any capacity. They may receive high-level, de-identified reports about overall engagement, but those never include your name or personal health information.

Will my provider see what I share with Guide?

The information you choose to share before your first appointment through Guided Intake is shared directly with your provider. Beyond that, your provider will not see your Guide conversation history. You are encouraged to share what you feel comfortable sharing during your sessions.

Why would I use Guide instead of a general AI tool?

Guide is built specifically for mental health support within Spring Health. It can connect members to care and human support, recommend next steps within the Spring Health platform, and includes safeguards designed for mental health conversations. General-purpose AI tools aren't connected to your Spring Health benefit, providers, or support teams, and they don't use the same mental health safety safeguards.

When should I use Guide?

You can use Guide to navigate care, get support in the moment, or reflect and make progress on something you’ve discussed in therapy.

For example, you can ask Guide to:

  • Help you find a therapist or explore other care options
  • Explain your Spring Health benefits
  • Prepare for an upcoming appointment
  • Change or cancel an appointment
  • Schedule another session or find a new provider
  • Find self-guided resources based on your needs
  • Answer questions about your care
  • Talk through everyday, situational concerns: work stress, relationship issues, sleep struggles, habits, motivation, general coping
  • Talk through what's bothering you: feeling heard, de-escalating, self-soothing, processing something that happened
  • Work through a decision, difficult conversation, or practical plan
  • Work through what came up during therapy, between sessions

You do not need to already be in care or know exactly what kind of support you need. You can start by telling Guide what is going on, or simply say, “I’m not sure where to start.

What happens if Guide is concerned about my safety?

If something you share suggests you may be at risk, Guide may ask additional questions to better understand the situation, show relevant crisis resources, and connect you with trained human support. Guide is not a replacement for emergency services or crisis care.

Can I choose to speak with a person instead?

Yes. You can choose human support instead of using Guide. Depending on what you need, you may be able to connect with Care Support, a Care Navigator, a provider, or crisis resources. You can call us anytime at 1 (855) 629-0554, option 2, to reach our 24/7 Crisis Support line.

What information does Guide remember?

Guide may use relevant information from your Spring Health experience to make its support more useful and personalized. Depending on the feature, this may include information you have shared with Guide, assessment or onboarding information, eligible session summaries or takeaways, and where you are in the Spring Health experience. Guide does not automatically give your provider access to your full conversation history.

Is Guide just a chatbot?

No. Guide is designed to support your care journey inside Spring Health. It is connected to your Spring Health experience and is meant to help you take the right next step, not make you start over or figure everything out on your own.

What can Guide help me do?

Guide may help with finding the right next step, getting support in the moment, accessing self-guided resources, handling care logistics, and reviewing eligible session takeaways when those features are available to you.

Can Guide help me between therapy sessions?

Yes, where available. Guide can help you reflect, practice skills, prepare for care, and apply what you are working on between sessions. It is meant to support care, not replace it.

Stop waiting. Start feeling better.
